clear glaze over velvets

I've been busy this week so I missed this post (State Championships - Hockey
Midget B - Livonia Sabres - my kids won - sorry I can't tell enough people).
Amaco has two clear glazes that I have used at the schools - LG9 and LG10.
They are low fire and the Velvets work well under both of them. The LG9 is
not food safe I think. The LG10 is and you can get a gallon of it and it
goes a long way painting it on. There is also a cone 6 clear by Amaco, but
I'm not sure all the Velvets some through at cone 6.

I did a project where I bisqued the tiles with the Velvets to cone 6 first
and then put the clear on after for low fire - all the Velvets I used worked
well and I tested a lot of colors before hand.

You can blast me on the non-clay stuff - I am a hockey mom and I can handle
myself in the stands.
