Hello,

As stated before. I too have worked with many wheels and the pacifica is =
a
great wheel at a great price. It has been the workhorse in our Center whi=
ch is
also named The Armory Arts Center of Opelika Al. Sorry but it is hard to =
NOT
have a few Armories around. We took possession of the old Armory and have=

started a massive under-taking for repairs, but we are growing so fast it=
is
like doing the jitter-bug while holding up the Empire State building.
Thank goodness the government left us something here in our area to use a=
s an
art center since funding for arts is well below funding for sports.
We have learned to be creative with what pocket change we can conure out =
of
the people who decide when and where tax dollars are best spent. But now =
that
we have their attention we are getting a little more interests from them.=

William Edwards
Alchemy 101- Not looking for a hand-out, just looking for a hand to place=
on
clay while it turns to the tune of a pacifica wheel. Brents are great as =
well
so now we have some good comparitive choices.

I worked all week on a Pacific wheel and really liked it. It was solid an=
d
smooth and quiet and powerful. At the Craft Center we have Brent CXCs and=

CI Big Boss and Clay Boss wheels. The CXC is the expensive workhorse, and=

the CIs are one of the best bargains around, but between the two is the
Pacifica wheel. It's plenty heavy for anyone's needs, but not quite so
cumbersome or expensive as a CXC. This was my first opportunity to work
with a Pacifica, and as you can see I was favorably impressed.
Best wishes -
- Vince
