Hi, Mudlady.

Try Tony Hansen's 5x5 glaze with 5-10% Mason stain. Be sure to use a stain
that won't burn out at ^6, though. Many of them do. And test before you
commit a large amount of stain to this enterprise. I haven't done this, but
Tony's glaze should be hospitable to pink.

20 EPK
20 Silica
20 Frit 3134
20 Custer Spar
20 Wollastonite

I would also recommend an opacifier--probably tin, about 5%.

Does anyone have a ^6 pink glaze using a pink mason
stain? thanks

Any cone 6 glaze which does not contain zinc should work with 6% addition
of pink stain. However some pink stains are fugitive at this temperature.
So be sure to use a stain that is formulated for cone 6 firing. Mia in ABQ

Whoops!

I wonder if you could resend this recipe? It seems to have been truncated.

Thanks!
