Dear Charles,
I sieve my glazes because, once you do sieve, you will sometimes see =
that you remove a lot of hard small rocks of materials. Without =
sieving, sometimes some of that junk would stay hard and make lumps in =
the glaze surface. Again, it depends on what you making and your =
personal preference. If a small lump is on the outside of a large bowl, =
all right. But if it is on the rim of a cup, it renders the cup =
unusalbe for me. But, you could be very lucky. But sieve or not, I =
would put on your respirator before you begin to dry mix your glazes, =
unless I have misunderstood your proceedure. =20

Best regards,
Alisa
