The Industrial gypsum Co. in Milwaukee (414)540-1300
sells something they call low melt Spodumene.
typical analysis:

LiO2 7.10-7.50%
Na2O 0.10-0.50%
K2O 0.10-0.50%
P2O5 8.00-10.0%
MnO3 0.02-0.04%
Fe2O3 0.03-0.07%
Al2O3 26.0-28.0%
SiO2 50.0-55.0%

This seems to fall into a formula for what might be
called amblygonite. Does any one have any cone 10
glazes that call for amblygonite that they could share
with me.

Dave,
Try substituting it for spodumene in your shino type glazes. It won't be
the same, but that's the point of shino, right?
