I am seeking information on firing kilns in a urban situation...I couldn't
find much of anything in the clayart archive, so i was wondering if anyone
has information or a good resource for information.
We are a new community clay studio in downtown Burlington, Vermont.
We are planning to start with small pit firings and hoping to move into
doing raku by the summer months. I am interested in hearing ways the local
fire marshall should be approached, etc. Any information or direction to
information would be appreciated.
