I am pleased to announce two craft tours this summer that are availble

center of Cuenca in southern Ecuador to name only a few. In addition, a
trip to the Amazon will include hands-on workshops with Quichua Indians in
the area of ceramics, basketry, wood working and traditional weaving.
Visits to craft villages where Panama Hats are woven and jewelry and pottery
is produced fill out the remainde rof the trip. A full 2 weeks! This is
the third year for this offering from Arrowmont which looks to be another
adventure for anyone interested in the contemporary and traditional crafts
of Ecuador. Limit 10.

The second trip is the _Arrowmont Craft Tour to Peru_ from July 14-30. The
cost for this trip is $2,875 from Houston and includes all air and land

Participants will have the opportunity to visit the capital city of Lima
which boasts some of the finest museums of Pre-Columbiam art in the world.

Trujillo which are home to the unique ruins of Chan-Chan (the world's
largest mud city), Sipan and the Bruning Museum. Visits to quaint towns and
villages that produce a variety of craftwork as well will be included in the
southern trip down the coast of Peru to back to Lima. After this first week
of travel the group will fly to the Sacred Valley of the Andean range and
the historic town of Cusco. Visits to historic sites, galleries and markets
in Cusco are included and followed by a two day trip by train to the famous
