I sealed my floor with a sealer and also added a stain. I had to acid wash it
first.
I had the same question when i built my shop and i asked the group.

The dust gets mopped up easier and doesnt get in the floor. Sealing is the
way to go.I have had studios in places that were concrete and not sealed and
i feel that that dust was always there.

What are the pros and cons of sealing a studio cement floor with=20
polyurethane??**** I have used a good sealer on my floor. It holds=20
water; that is, water stays on the surface and slowly evaporates.=20
However, clay dust sinks into the pores of the cement after I wet mop. =

No matter how well I mop the dust is still there,

The word polyurethane scares me more than manganes, lithium lead etc! When
there is fire, you just have to smell it once!
