identifying fire bricks

Hi,

I have some firebricks that I'd like to identify. They are big - about 24"
x 20" x 3" and have a semi-circle (about 12" diameter) cut out of one of
the long edges. Is anyone familiar with the manufacturer and what
temperatures they are good for? They are stamped:

Morex
KC25
TKS1250

I tried to find Morex on the web, but no luck. Thanks for any help.

Hi Nettie,

"Morex" is probably a product name for a particular company's line of refractories. I found the following threads to follow on the web:
