The glaze recipe below, is an old cone 5 glaze called LSD- probably because
it was formulated in the 60's and it tended to be all quite unpredictable
if used by itself. For years I have used it as an accent glaze over Chun at
cone 10 and it is a beautiful red. The tin in the Chun activates the red.
Sometimes it will come out tourquoise. Anyway, I want t use it as a cone
ten glaze with a tin ox addition to make it a copper red on its own. I
hesitate to monkey with the formula because of the high P-25 frit content
andwhich makes the situation more complicated. Any suggestions from more
experienced hands?
