updated tue 28 nov 00

Alisa and Claus Clausen on mon 27 nov 00

Source: F. Carlton Ball

Tested on white, mid range stoneware, fired to 1220c, OXIDATION =20

Receipe
36 Custer sapr
17.8 Whiting
17.8 Cornwall Stone
9 Ball Clay
12.9 Rutile
6.5 Zinc Oxide

Substitutions:
Local spar for Custer

Resulted in stable, whitish matt with pink speckles.
Painted over both iron and cobalt oxides which brought up the oxides =
nicely. Especially the cobalt, as it had a softer hue
than cobalt under a regular gloss.
