Just a note to let everyone know you can now find the article Ron Roy and
I wrote on the above subject 2 places on the web. Ceramics Monthly has
put it on their site in the "Must Reads" section (Thanks Ruth!) at:

http://www.ceramicsmonthly.com/mustreads/stableglazes.asp

I have a very slightly edited and updated version (e.g. an additional
testing lab, a couple other minor changes) on my site which is in pdf
format for downloading and printing. Go to:

ftp://ftp.frogpondpottery.com/stableglazes.pdf
