An Ontario Potter, not (yet) a member of Clayart, Bill Reddick,
mentioned the Everson Museum of Art's Ceramic collection in Syracuse,
NY while I was at his open house today. A search turned up this group
of historical ceramic pieces online.

Helen -
The Everson has the best collection of American ceramics under one roof,
plus a growing collection from other countries. The primary focus of the
museum is ceramics, although they are branching out into other media.
Anyone driving within a few hundred miles of Syracuse NY ought to go the
extra distance just to see the collection. Plan on spending at least a full
afternoon, and preferably a whole day. The Everson is the museum from which
Adelaide Alsop Robineau's Scarab Vase was stolen (and subsequently returned)
about fifteen years ago. They have a large display of Robineau's work.
Best wishes -
