To all who wrote and encouraged us about our kiln, THANK YOU. It is working
very well. We reach cone 11 in 6 hours without ever turning the burners up
all the way. We have gotten several nice reds and are in the process of
remaking all our glazes.

This is fun because we are having our huge craft festival Friday, Saturday
and Sunday of Thanksgiving.

Those of you who know me remember that we have 13,000 folks come over 3
days to see all kinds of homesteading crafts and skills. Pottery,
blacksmithing, broom making, instrument making, soap making, baking, horse
farming, furniture making, quiting, spinning, weaving, sewing and much
more. Good food--American, Mexican, Italian, Israeli, deserts, ice cream,
apple cider.

This year we are doing 2 barn raisings of timber-framed barns that were
built in the early 1800s and moved here from New Jersey. We will set them
up the "Amish way" and then auction them off to be taken down and moved to
the new owners property later.

There is tons of good music and things to do. Anyone who in interested,
email me custserv@calpha.com. We have folks from as far away as Quebec
come to central Texas to see us. We will have thousands of pots too. The
only charge is for parking to pay for the brand new asphalt road. $5.00 per
car. It is 7 miles North of Waco off I-35.

Remember to look at the kiln at
http://www.cedarcreeksoftware.com/kilnbuilding.html I haven't updated with
any new shots lately. Folks interested in the 200 year old barns we restore
should look at http://www.heritagebarns.com for some really great shots of
the barns and information on old barns.

Thank you guys for all the support
