TEXAS CLAY ARTS ASSOCIATION Member's Show is hosting the 3rd annual
ATTACHMENTS show in Houston this year. The show will be at the HOUSTON
POTTERS' GUILD SHOP & GALLERY in the Rice Village February 15-28 and the
reception will be on February 17 from 11a-4p.
The entry deadline is January 1 of 2001 & you are asked to submit a photo,
slide or sketch of your piece along with the entry fee of $15/member &
$45/non-member. The work must be no larger than 18" wide by 18" deep due to
space limitations, however there is no limit on height. The art work may be
freestanding or wall mounted.
Two cash prizes have been donated this year, $100 from the Salt Grass
Potter's for Best of Show and $100 from Potter's Place for People's Choice.
Last year there were 70 entries and the variety of work was interesting and
exciting.
If you are not interested in submitting a piece for the show, please fell
free to join us at the reception or view the work the last couple weeks of
February at the Houston Potter's Guild which is open 7 days/week.

* one other point for clayartist in the Houston area - the TCAA meeting, held
on Nov. 28 at 7pm at the Ceramic Store will focus on the 2001 ATTACHMENTS

we will have also have a bowl auction. We will auction off bowls & the
