Mary,
The wax will keep the foot of a pot free of glaze. However, if you have
a glaze that runs during firing it is not going to help. If you like the
looks of that glaze use it only in bowls where it might just run and form
a pool. Three things might help :. Apply the glaze only halfway down the
outside,add a little more clay to your recipe,or fire a cone lower.If you
post the recipe on Clayart, one of the glaze gurus might alter it so that
it does not run excessively. Mia in ABQ
