have been using the archives for some time now. However, I am new to the
list and not sure I am doing this right?!

I just attended a 2-day workshop w/ Mary Barringer at Baltimore Clayworks.
It was fantastic, and everyone was inspired (participants ranged in
experience from 3-30 years). Show at Balto. Clayworks is a must see!

Mary is giving a 1-day workshop at the Renwick on 11/4. She is also giving
slide show & lection on 11/5 that is open to public and is free. Mary uses
an electric kiln and achieves very rich and interesting surfaces. She is
very open and shares her methods in detail. I am a new fan! See links
