Now I don't know if y'all know that there is a large Scottish population in the NC
mountains. That is why there are so many moonshiners there. The rare mountain
Haggis is usually served there, in formal situations, with mason jars of White
(white lightning, moonshine) . now when it is served in family groups, the white
is passed about in hand thrown jug that you balance on your shoulder and tip down
for a slug. Perhaps some of NC potters (the ridge runners, not the flatlanders of
course) could set up a side trip for the express purpose of experiencing the NC
mountain Haggis.

PS. No Feds will be allowed on this trip for everyone's personal safety.

Millie in Md. who grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and doesn't try to go home too
often.

Does anyone out there know of a good place in the greater Charlotte area for
Barbeque (Lexington and/or Down East style)?
