mixing glazes-a remark

I had the most wonderful experience today! I was mixing up a test batch
of glaze and instead of adding water to the dry ingredients (as I was
taught to do) I instead slowly sprinkled the dry mix into a measured
amount of water. The glaze mixed up like a dream, to an almost perfect
consistancy, and there were no lumps! It was like making the perfect
gravy. So thank you, Clayarters, for teaching me a simple tip that
really made a difference!
