Hallo!

I was wondering if anyone knows something about the sources for the
history of Korean art, especially ceramics.

I thank You in advance,
Ana Garic

Ana,
5000 years of Korean Art, published by the the Asian Art
Museum in San Francisco , CA is a lovely book. Filled with illustrations
and text, lots of ceramics. The book was published in conjunction with a
travelling exhibit May 1,1979 -June 14,1981 to various museums in the US.

Dear Wade
I was going to say the same thing. I saw the show 5000 years of Korean
Art at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. Got the catalog (about
1981 or 82) Lost it via students. BUT found another in S.F. at a used
bookstore for $5. I love the ceramics in that book. Great work. Korean
Ceramics is among my favorites. It combines Chinese and Japanese
influences or rather it influenced Chinese and Japanese. and remember
the Pottery Wars between Korea and Japan.
Best wishes,
Marcia
