Tested on light grey mid range stoneware, course grogg, fired to 1220c.
=20
Receipe=20
55 Gerstley Borate
15 Talc
30 Flint

Add
22 Red iron ox.

Resulted in a glaze similar to Floating blue with the advantage of an =
iron colored pool in test bowl, where Floating Blue can=20
often turn green. The glaze moved a lot, without dripping. A lot of =
streaking with both iron reds and blues.
I think this glaze would benefit more from a smoother clay type. Dark =
brown over edges where thinnest.

Same receipe, same proceedure, but subbed Colemanite for G.B.
No real discernable difference in glaze appearance.
The original receipe yeilded more blue streaks mixed with red, and the =
Colemanite version resulted in
more red streaks mixed with blue. Could just be the test, but I will =
try this again with the Colemanite.

Nice glazes.
