I'll be traveling to Winnipeg for a conference and hope to have a little
time to see some galleries/museums and possibly potters studios.
Any suggestions of galleries/ museums/ studios--etc?
Also-- how cold is it there now?-- South Texas-it's still hot & dry!

Thanks, Alice

The Stoneware Gallery, 778 Corydon Ave in Winnipeg 204 475-8088 is a
gallery/studio featuring the work of 10 or 11 people; they would be able to
tell you about other studios to visit but this would be an excellent place to
start.
The Winnipeg Art Gallery has a shop on the main floor that carries a lot of
pots; they are at 300 Memorial Boulevard, Winnipeg.
There is also a little shop at the Winnipeg airport that has pots & books
about the work being made in Winnipeg.
According to the NY Times it was a high of 44 degree F there yesterday, the
normal for this time of year is 57 F; I would check the temperature on-line
before you go.
