We are looking for a high fire (cone 10 reduction) castable slip to use at
the college I attend/work at, can anyone help us out? Also is there anyone
that might be interested in an old large Alpine(?) electric kiln? It does
not heat up and has some loose and damaged bricks (it had an estimate of
aprox. $800.00 to get it working by a professional repair person) but would
be free for the taking. The person who has it said that it had a good cone
sitter in it and might be worth fixing for the right person. It is located
in one of the northern suburbs of Mpls. St Paul (MN) and you would have to
come and pick it up (and bring a bunch of weight-lifters to help you). If
interested please email me personally at wolffden@uswest.net

There is an old broken down kiln,
does it have any life in it still?
It's quite a good deal,
if you come in your wheels,
and bring some men with weight lifting skills.
