Many people think, although I always write it that Marty butterscotch is
mine. This great glaze was sent to anyone asked for, from Marty Anderson. I
do not have his address. He is the one to thank, as well as Frank Gaydos
that gave place in his site some to Marty's well glazed works. Thanks again!

Here again the original recipe:

BUTTERSCOTCH ^6

Frit 3134 20
Dolomite 20
Spodumene 20
Ball Clay (OM4) 20
Flint 20

Add:
Titanium Dioxide 10
Rutile 6

When I made it the first time I could not buy spodumen, so I made it this
way!

I changed the recipe, so I can use it with my frit.
latly I tested it again WITHOUT the lithium carbonate and got good result,
woud say foodsafe.
I did not make any real leaching test, but surely better than before.
looks good on midfire terra cota , buff, and a bit pale on white claybody.
