June,
I wrote it down with your name once I checked it against the others I hav=
e on
hand. I am testing and writing them about as fast as I can. Your recipe i=
s
different from Lana's enough to qualify as a different formula.
Lana if you are watching this remember you are my buddy and Its not the
recipe. (Lana Wilson Red has always been a favorite of ours).
I am on that search for the magic bullet. A red that is GB free (Gerstley=

Borate). How bout a Lana Red without GB?
I have written 20 or so reds with maybe 3 magical keepers. One is very ni=
ce
with a good balance and I named it after a student who fell in love with =
it!
June yours is well within the limits I use on Al:SiO2 Ratio and a bit hig=
h in
boron. I will notify you privately once I get to making it up.
Cranberry color and purples that are alive and have something other than =
just
the color its self working for them have been my interest for the last fe=
w
months. But when the GB thing crashed and burned and I started using all =
the
various new subs out there I went into over-kill making and changing this=
and
that till I got very tired of it all.
That was my reasoning behind the pompus remark I made that stirred the
cauldron up about certain subs being offered. Its one thing when you have=
to
test these changes till you are blue in the face and another when you are=
sold
on the idea that someone else has tested them for you and thats why they =
cost
so much.
Heck, if I had known that I had to totally re-manufacture my glazes prior=
to
purchasing certain items just to use them I could have done that with the=

chemicals I had on hand. (I wasn't told of this at the time) Sooo - I
appreciate your help June. They are no strange ingredients in there and I=
do
have everyone of them on hand.
Thankyou BIG time!

William Edwards
