Hi Lee!
I agree! Picasso's clay work is fun! Saw the exhibit at the NY
Metropolitan Museum of Art last year. His plates remind me of childlike
drawings with bursts of color! Happy and fun! I even bought the set
(4) of place mats (each with a copy of a different plate) from the museum
store. Planned to give it as a gift, but found they make a wonderful
background for my shino dishes!!!!! Need I say more?
If anyone is near Morristown, NJ on Sunday please stop by the Morris
Museum for the opening reception of the NJ Council of the Arts - Crafts
exhibition and say 'hi'. It's from 1 - 3 PM. One of my hand built boxes
in is the exhibit.
