Hi,
A lot of info already posted, as someone with interests in both pottery and
woodwork, I would like to add that Fine WoodWorking (FWW) back issues are a
goldmine of info, check your library, esp a college or univ. I remember an
article on shopbuilt bowl-turning lathes. Also try Woodwork.
The Electronic Neanderthal site has great sharpening info
