Axner sells a great little 6" grinding wheel called a green stone (or
something like that). Takes glaze runs off like they were butter, well,
almost. Anyway, it works great.

Someone ( I think it was Paul Watkins ) at our ACC workshop said that he
uses a "flap sander" to smooth his bottom, (I assume he was talking about
of pots) Does anyone know what a flap sander is or where you can get one??

Just loving the change in the weather, lows in the 50's are a welcome relief
from lows near 80. It took a whole day for the old brick house to cool
down.

Jeff a flap sander comes in many shapes and sizes but is essentially a
wheel with multiple small pieces of sand paper attached to the wheel. Can
be found in almost any hardware or lumber supply business.
