shichirin tougei is like raku pottery ?

Hi All,

I have come across a word "Shichirin Tougei" in Japanese
Pottey Mailing list. You can see the images of shichirin Tougei
in the below URL. A shichirin means a blazier in Japanese.
Shichirins were used for broiling fish or for cooking.
But it is used outside of house because for the safety.
Shichirin Togei(pottery) is popular among hobbiests in Japan.

I wonder if the Raku pottery is very similar to Shichirin potery.
