glazing with 2 glazes

I recently glazed some bowls with 2 different glazes, one over the =
other, but the top glaze was too thin (dipped, I had added too much =
water). After firing to cone 6 ox. the bottom glaze was the only color =
visible. I looked through the Archives and found many good suggestions =
for getting more glaze to adhere to a piece for re-firing, and I plan to =
try several of those ideas. My question is: should I reapply the top =
glaze only, of course a bit thicker? will it blend with the previously =
applied bottom glaze during the refiring to c6? Or should I re-dip both =
glazes to get the desired 2-glaze effect?=20

I'm fairly new to ClayArt and have enjoyed learning from so many clay =
folks. Thanks in advance for any advice.
