Hi Laura,
Congrats on getting your degree! Now, snag yourself a copy of Ceramics Monthly and
look in the back under "opportunities." I'm sure a lot of the other clay mags have
similar listings, and I think The Crafts Report does as well.
Good Luck!

If you want to come west & are certified for k12 teaching, you should
contact Laramie County School District #1 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Art
Coordinator is Kathy Vliem, and I know she is looking for a HS art teacher -
they had a great 3-d / clay person before. - Dennis in Wyo

Laura::

What kind of a job are you looking for? I study at Kirkland Arts Center in
Kirkland, WA and they recently had 3 people quit. I know they are looking to
hire new people but it may be more administrative and/or for the gallery. I
don't know if there is an opening in the ceramics dept., but if you let me
know what you are looking for, I can ask the Artistic Director when I see
him on Friday.

We are near Seattle, in case you don't know where Kirkland is. It is a small
art center, but very friendly. And Seattle is a great city.

Post me again if you are interested.

Laura,
I have not been replaced yet. I heard they have hired one potter for one
class or two. They won't hire for three because then they have to pay
benefits. part time only and %525/credit. Classes are 3 credits.
($1575/16 weeks) At this point they don't care about credentials. You'd
have to be your own tech. Not a very inviting proposition. Contact Dr.
Connie Landis at the Art Dept. MSU-Billings 406-657-2323
