Hi Lisa--I bought the Italian Straw, cone 5, and really like it. I fire
oxidation, cone 7, and it develops nice highlights without running off the
pots. It's glossy at that temp. Haven't tried it at cone 5.

Hello, I am concerned about some glazes I just bought this week from
Laguna. I heard after I bought them of clayart postings that others had
troubles.

I searched the archives and saw peacock was one with trouble being runny?
It does have a new formula # and has been improved supposedly, has anyone
tried the new MSD-95 version with luck? That what I have.

How about any other Laguna glazes?
I bought, cone 5: gloss black, grape, walnut spice, robin's egg, and the
peacock. I hope I am not going to be sorry. Input would be greatly
appriciated.

Italian Straw is great over Iron saturate glazes in VERY light application
at cone 10 it runs and is a great accent.

Dear Lisa,
I found Laguna's Forest Green
to be runny also. Now that was over
a year ago so I would be interested
it hear if it has been reformulated
and is less runny.
I think the problem was only with the
transparent glazes. I have seen robin's
egg and walnut spice used by students and
they seemed fine. I haven't seen the black
or grape.
