A few days ago, someone mentioned loving Highwater's Buncumbe white. I
stopped using it a while ago because of cracking problems. In fact, I
have 3 50lb. boxes I'd be happy to let go at 1/2 price plus shipping (or
pick-up - if you want to drive to North Central New Jersey). E-mail me
privately if interested.

So far my favorite cone 6 white clays are Tucker's Smooth White and
Mid-White. Smooth White is virtually grog-less, and Mid-white contains
grog. No cracking problems and they vitrify better than any other cone 6
white clay I've tried thus far. Bailey's in Kingston, NY carries Tuckers
in the Northeast U.S. Thanks, Ron Roy!

Hi Judy,

Thanks for this - sometimes I think I am just whistling in the wind.

Good to hear all our hard work is having an effect.
