Not too long ago I fired
a glaze load; program
was set for cone 10.
The kiln reached
1425 F and then an
error message showed.
I called Perry at Skutt
he told me to restart
the kiln, the temp
had dropped to a little
over 1100F. When the
kiln reached 1425 it=20
showed the error message
again. With Perry's help
via telephone and my
husband's knowledge
of electricity they=20
determined the problem
was not relays but a=20
short in the kiln
controller. Apparently
one of the relay wires
was loose and shorted
out. Perry sent new=20
wires at no cost to me
and my husband replaced
the burnt one. Problem=20
solved. So you might
want to have the relays
or the wiring checked inside
the controller.

By the way, the pots came
out fine after refiring them
to cone 10
