I don't know how the prices/sizes/etc. compare, but I'm very happy with my
Scott Creek Pottery extruder. Of course, I've heard good things about North
Star and Bailey, too.

Hello All,
I am going to purchase an extruder. I have pondered this for a couple of =
years, not wanting my work to be percieved as "machine" made. Having =
wrestled that demon, I have decided it is a good idea. I have Diana =
Pancioli's "Extruded Ceramics" and I am eager to experiment. Now...which =
extruder ???
North Star's Big Blue Extruder looks really good...easy to operate and =
clean...but is it worth the big price tag ? I have always heard that =
Bailey has an excellant product.=20
Any comments, experiences, advice would be very much appreciated. You =
