I use 100 mesh Alumina so the cut would probably be minus 80 plus 100. =
Comes from Commercial Minerals in Adelaide. It has about the same degree =
of fineness as the sand in an hour glass. I think I paid about $10 for a =
forty pound bag. I suppose aluminium hydrate would work just as well but =
it is more expensive. You could use any good refractory grog but I =
wanted to get the alumina content up to reduce salt corrosion.
