Bob.. If you track down a book on preparing Ceramic Stains you
will find many examples of how many oxides can produce
a wide range of colours depending on the other substances
present on the glaze or stain. Some of these stains could change=20
according to the glaze and/or firing. I have a book by Green
but it appears to be on loan to someone at the moment.Your Cobalt=20
Pink is listed by Kenneth Shaw as being formed in highly
alkaline glazes with some magnesia present and can be unstable.
