Mark,

When I was in Boston last year, Lana Reeves took me to see Mudflat Studios
where she works. It is located at 149 Broadway, Somerville MA. Phone:
617-628-0589, email mailto:info@mudflat.org

They have an old building with 2 floors; topside (street level) is broken up
into individual studios that are rentable, bottom floor is their open studio
space w/ wheels and 2 huge gas kilns. I bought a mug from the guy at the
end of the topside hall on the left - can't remember his name, but nice form
and nice glaze too. :)

Also, when I went to Boston, I stayed with Judy Motzkin in Cambridge. She
has a neat studio and she is on clayart, so maybe you can hook up w/ her.
Too bad you're not going in June/July when you could munch on the
raspberries that grow on her doorstep.

Good luck!

Mark,
Don't miss the Museum of Fine Art. Great collection of Asian pots.

Also check out the Sax Collection in Cambridge. Harvard. There is also a
majolica collection/part of a medieval collection in a library. The
Isabelle gardner museum is also interesting with majolica tiles in the cloister.
