I do not intend this as any kind of propoganda for Laguna, but I was
curioius about this and emailed them. I got the following email and
chemical analysis back from Laguna today.

The problem is - this is not an analysis.

I am starting to get questions about this substitution - there is nothing I
can do with any glaze that has Laguna Borate in it till I have a proper
analysis including LOI.

I don't understand why this is not forthcoming - surely it would be in the
best interest of all concerned if we could calculate the molecular formula
of any glaze with this material in it.
