SCULPTURAL TILE AND COLORED INLAYS

AUGUST 28-SEPTEMBER 5 TOM COLEMAN - =22PORCELAIN LOVES SHINO ASHK =

PORCELAIN FORMS WITH EMPHASIS ON SHINO AND WOOD ASH GLAZES.

SEPTEMBER 8-15 JIM ROMBERG - =22EXPLORATIONS INTO RAKU, FORM AND SURFACE=22

Workshops are limited in size to approximately 10 students to help ensure a
=22mentoring=22 environment, studio access is 24 hours a day, three meals =
per
day and lodging are included. Costs are =241250 for the long sessions(Two
business weeks plus one week-end), and =24675. for the short Sessions(Steven
Hill, Tom Coleman, and Jim Romberg.) Cost also includes start up clay and
the first round of firing(Bisque and finish fire). Lab fees are =2480. for
the long session, and =2445 for the short. For people who wish to stay
elsewhere, there are also a la carte =22day student=22 rates as well(Meals =
etc
may be purchased separately at =2410. each. Graduate level credit as well as
undergrad credit are available through our affiliation with Adams State
College(three credits for the two week workshops are approximately =2480. =
Two
credits may be given for the shorter session.) The workshops are filling up
quickly, so if you are interested, please call, fax, e-mail with your
intent as soon as possible.

The Steamboat airport is the Yampa Valley Airport at Hayden which is
approximately 30 minutes by car to town or to the ranch. Connections are
made through Denver on United Express.

Listen up guys,
Last summer I attended a Laloba workshop; when I arrived I found myself in a
dormortory situation with about 10 other women; unfortunately I was in a
separate private room [just kidding ------ I think]. Great location,
beautiful, tremendous host and good programs; can't go wrong. Do it.
