Hi Tracy,
I have two shelves on short supports to raise the bottom of the kiln =
somewhat
off theoff the bottom elements. Better for heat circulation.
When something explodes or just everyday falling apart of an old kiln, I =
remove
the
two kiln shelves on the bottom and vacuum. Keeps the elements free of
rubble, etc. No problem.
