'how-to' links to making earthenware filter candles

Here are two pictures of molds and dies for the earthenware filter.

These are before and after pictures for casting of the concrete die.
Shown is the two piece mold used for casting the eighth section dies for
the new and bigger, earthenware filter candle press. The mold is two
pieces, which can be closed together with a single, carpenter's clamp.
The photos show the white, plaster mold, and inside it the darker,
concrete die piece.

Eight pieces like the concrete one shown fit together, making what might
be called a 'wheel die' set, which we are about to put into operation.
Some may have seen the smaller such set of dies in operation in the
video I sent to Potters for Peace. One plus in getting a system like
this going is that the two master molds for the mold shown are very
small, so that many thousands of filters can be formed from one simple
set of master molds.

I should have a bunch more links within the coming weeks. An aim is to
present at one site a kind of 'how to' publication, links that show
people how to make the filters.
