Hi Everyone,

I have just finished setting up another Currie Standard Glaze Grid from a
pair of my students - Tina Hendriks and Namsook Chang.

This is quite an interesting one with a flux group of KNO 0.692, CaO 0.308,
and some B2O3 0.03. The original gaze was what my students call a "Luxflake
Celedon" due to the manner in which the crazing tends to shear on an angle
through the glaze rather than virtically when the glaze is applied thickly.
This effect is typical of glazes with high KNO levels and low alumina and
silica levels. I was very interested in the range displayed in this set
particularly in the generation of oranges in glazes high in alumina.

I have placed a new navigation and location chart on each of the individual
glaze pages. You can click on this to bring up any particular number you
want to look at.

You can get to the grid display from the Matrix2000 website.

Regards to all,

Lawrence Ewing

Hi Lawrence
I went to get into the latest grid (TinaLux)but I keep getting an error message
on the images of the fired tiles. First page info seems to be ok. Is this me or
is there a broken link?

Hi Johanna,

Yes I am sorry for that inconvenience. I had to shift the blend to another
website after running out of space for a couple of images forgotten in the
initial setup. Its all fixed now - accessible from the Matrix2000 website.
Students will be putting another grid up this week sometime - based on a
clear glaze C.10.

Regards,

Lawrence
