Dear Clayarters,
First and foremost, Thank you all for your contributions to my continuing
education in the clay arts. I am an Adult Ed potter, enjoying myself
thoroughly thanks to my instructor and to you.
Curiosity has led me to try reduction firing in an electric kiln by using
silicon carbide in the glaze, rather than by attempting to change the kiln's
atmospheric environment thereby reducing :) the life of my elements.
My recent experiment used Saloman Clear Glaze [GB-55, EPK-30, Flint-15]
