regarding a book that would helpful to translate Japanese terms to English:

Alisa,

herbert H Sanders wrote "the world of Japanese Ceramics" It is out of
print and very hard to find here abouts (Tacoma Washington, USA)

I have seen a little book with hand sketches and lists of English and
Japanese terms, it is The Japanese Pottery
Handbook
by Penny Simpson,Lucy Kitto, and Kanji Sodeoka
