Thanks to all who have responded. I have learned that the ladles
(spelled ladle, not ladel) are called "shaku" and are used for the
tea ceremony. I have a source to order from a Clayart
member, and I have a website to visit and I will soon have an
address for a bamboo sales company. Since I also have
instructions on how to make my own, it seems I am "all set,"
but will welcome any additional information as well.
