Register now for a week in the world famous pottery village of Mata Ortiz.
Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix Arizona is sponsoring this
workshop with Carmen and Jesus Veloz.
20 students, led by potter, instructor David Bradley, will journey by van
to Mata Ortiz. Students will stay in a village hotel, or in private homes.
All meals will be taken at the hotel.
Each day will be spent working at the Veloz' home, making pottery by
hand, sanding, polishing and decorating. Firing will take place on the last
day. Free time is spent visiting the homes of the 300 other potters in the
town, including that of world famous potter Juan Quezada.

Dates: Sunday, May 14, 2000 thru Saturday, May 20.
Fees: $500 -includes transportation, tuition, insurance, meals, lodging, and
materials.
