Dear Clayarters,

my normally brilliant clear glaze (which I adapt by adding oxides for =
colour)
has let me down in my gas kiln, it fires OK in my little test (electric) =
kiln.
For some reason (I had my kiln repaired some time back and haven't used this
base glaze since) it fires a lovely satin matt, i need a shiny and stable =
glaze
1170 - 1190 C. Any offers of recipes please. I would appreciate (as I am in =
the
UK) for basic ingredients, or at least Typical Analysis.

Many thanks and happy potting Marek http://www.moley.uk.com

Could it be your glaze is not cooling as fast as it used to. Gas kilns tend
to cooler slower as do repaired kilns.
