Hello All,

I would like to thank everyone who responded to my mail and question
asking book about Japanese/English Pottery Terms.
"The Japanese Pottery Handbook" published by Kodansha was recommended
by almost everyone who responded.
I have posted the information to the Japanese Yakimono Mailing List and some
of
our menders have ordered it through the online service of Kinokuniya
Bookshop.
Although I do not need the book immediately, I feel like getting it now. It
sounds like
an excellent book.
Thank you so much again.

Hi everyone:
Recently Mr. Robert Yellin (WWW.e-yakimono.net) helped me find a dictionary
type pottery book, which ellustrates with pictures both in English and in
Japanese. Although I am a product of Japan, I often run into Japanese words
in pottery which I do not know how to pronounce. I believe this book will be
very handy for any one who is planning to take a pottery tour in Japan.
The book is available at KINOKUNIYA Book Store in San Fransisco(Phone
415-567-7625). Mariko
