According to Michael Cardew, it takes seven years of serious practice as
an apprentice to be able to throw the pot you want to throw. That is the
beginning towards becoming a master craftsmen.

Insurance topics are hot. I can't say I think the US has a good system.
BUT, the American Crafts' Coucil does have a group plan for its members?
I would think this would greatly reduce the costs compared to individual
plans.
